I beg to state that Miss Florence Skinner has been for

3 years in the service of my Board as Pupil Teacher. Dur-

ing this time she has pursued her studies, and discharged her

school duties very diligently, and the Managers, and the

Head Master of the Scarcroft Board School, have a high

opinion of her character and suitability for the profession of

teaching. She has had experience in all Standards up to VI,

and has frequently had sole charge of classes of between 60

and 70 scholars. She is bright with a class, and preserves

good discipline, and I can with confidence recommend her for

the position of Assistant Mistress.
